Belgravia Conference Table
Walnut, Burr Ash, Polished Stainless Steel, Black Baise
H 750 L 1800 – 2400 W 1200 mm
The client required a fully functioning office in their London home. With a large glass wall looking directly into the office, the furniture décor needed to resonate perfectly with the classic Georgian town house. They wanted the pieces to have more of a pared-down aesthetic but still subtly reflect their personality. They needed to accommodate working alone, hosting mid and large sized meetings yet still integrate with their residential setting.
Two pieces of furniture, a desk and an extending conference table were commissioned together.
Taking inspiration from their aviation business, the design evolved around an X shaped base, evocative of turning propeller blades. The beautiful arched original windows in the rooms were echoed in the top sections of the furniture, with back-to-back D shapes providing a visual motif throughout both pieces.
