A seamless dialogue between bedroom and bathroom

We countered the graphic black lines of this lacquered matte black Hamaca bath and vanity basins with soft pink calamine and brushed gold accents.

Studio Milne introduced subtle repetitions of form, through the black circular mirrors and the matt black tap for the bath.

In the bedroom, bespoke sliding doors open with beautiful etched handles. These echo the patterns in the marbled wallpaper. Recessed cabinets, and a wardrobe in light oak washed with pink calamine, provide great storage.

A return visit to Mile End

We were excited to be invited back to this lovely family home some time later to design a fun, family kitchen. Our design used angled work surfaces, segmented blocks, and tapered shelving in concrete, copper and warm woods.

When interviewed for a feature in Good Homes Magazine, our client said, “It’s the real heart of the house – exactly as I hoped it would be.”
